The Prospector is a character who makes a one-time appearance on Tiny Toon Adventures. He appears in the K-Acme TV sketch, The Search For BigButt. He is voiced by Jeff Bergman.
In The Search For BigButt, The Prospector is interviewed by Buster and Plucky on whether or not he believes in BigButt. He tells them that he does believe in him, and that he was searching for gold in the rivers as a kid in 1909, when all of a sudden, he heard a loud sound behind him. When he turned around, he saw BigButt, and ran off. The next day, he found the giant hole where he encountered him.
Trivia
- The Prospector greatly resembles Yosemite Sam, and while there is no specific evidence to prove this, some fans believe he could be Sam's father or grandfather.
- In his youth, The Prospector resembled Montana Max, but with a big nose and a thin mustache.
