Rank and Stumpy are a rooster and a squirrel who appear in the Tiny Toons Spring Break Special. They are a parody of Ren and Stimpy from the Nickelodeon cartoon of the same name. Rank and Stumpy are voiced by Jess Harnell and Jeff Bennett, respectively.
Rank is shown to be an anthropomorphic white-feathered rooster with a red waddle and a yellow beak. He also has three black dots on the back of his head. Stumpy is shown to be a blue squirrel with a red nose.
They appear towards the end of the Spring Break Special, trying to hitchhike a ride. Stumpy mistakes the Tiny Toons bus as their ride, and Rank angrily says to him, "You nincompoop! It's that stinking Tiny Toons bus!" and makes a gesture to hit him with a mallet. Beaver and Hoghead arrive and tell them that they're about to get run over, but Rank tells them, "Go away, you disgusting excuse for a cartoon!". Rank and Stumpy then get run over by the bus, and Beaver and Hoghead laugh at their pain, only for them to get hit by the bus again, this time with them.
- Given that John Kricfalusi, the creator of The Ren and Stimpy Show, reportedly hated Tiny Toon Adventures, despite the fact that he designed Sappy Stanley for the episode, Who Bopped Bugs Bunny?, Rank and Stumpy were created as a joke to get back at John K's criticism of TTA.
