How Sweetie It Is/Transcript[]

Act One[]

(The episode begins with a Dragon roaring as it surrounds a castle. In the castle's tower, Babs Bunny is dressed as a princess.)

Babs Bunny: Help me! Help me!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view as the Dragon chomps at Babs. The Dragon then turns its attention to Buster.)

Buster Bunny: Demon,

(The camera cuts to Buster, who is dressed in a suit of knight's armor and holding a sword in his left hand as he jumps onto the castle ledge.)

Buster: Prepare to be shish-kabobed!

(The camera zooms in on Buster as he turns to face the viewers and waves his right hand at them.)

Buster: Oh, hi, Toonsters!

(The camera cuts to Babs and the dragon as they both wave their right hands at the viewers. It then cuts back to Buster, who points his left index finger at the viewers.)

Buster: You've tuned into an action-packed show! It's Rabbit Spectacular Day on Tiny Toons. And now, I, Sir Buster of ACME, shall slay the evil dragon,

(Buster pulls out a shield with a carrot on it with his left hand and his sword with his right.)

Buster: And rescue Lady Babs!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Buster as the Dragon looks down at him and breathes fire at him.)

Sweetie Bird (heard offscreen): That's it!

(The Dragon stops breathing fire at Buster, and the two turn their attention to Sweetie. The camera cuts to a view of her as she walks onto the set.)

Sweetie: I've had it! "Rabbit Day" this, "Bunny Day" that!

(Sweetie flies into the air, and the camera cuts to a view of Buster, Babs, and the Dragon as Sweetie lands near Buster.)

Sweetie: What about "Cute Little Pink Birdie Day", huh?

Buster: Well, gee, Sweetie, I, uh...

(Sweetie taps her right foot impatiently, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of her as she paces the floor.)

Sweetie: What's the deal? You gotta have long ears to get a part on this show?

(Sweetie grabs her ribbon with both her hands and pulls at it, then she pulls out a contract with the Warner Bros. logo on it with her right hand.)

Sweetie: I've started this series with a contract guaranteeing stardom! What have I got to show for it?

(The camera cuts to a view of Buster and the Dragon as the Dragon looks down at Buster, holding up four fingers in his left hand and his right index finger.)

Dragon: Uh, I'm gonna take five, okay?

(Buster turns to face the Dragon.)

Buster: Sure.

(The Dragon leaves. The camera cuts to a view of Buster and Sweetie as Babs walks up to them.)

Sweetie: I'm just asking for some artistic consideration. Is that too much?

Babs: Well, Sweetie, I guess we just don't exactly know what to do with you.

Buster: Do you have any ideas?

(Sweetie turns to face Buster and Babs, then she pulls out a pad of paper in her left hand and a pen in her right. As she talks to the two rabbits, she writes down her ideas.)

Sweetie: First, I see a heartwarming tale of a helpless baby birdie alone in the cold, cruel world.

(Sweetie puts down her pad of paper and pen, and Buster and Babs glare angrily at each other as the screen fades to black.)

Egged On Eagle[]

(The title card depicts the titular Bald Eagle standing in front of an American flag and holding an egg in his left hand. The screen fades to black, then to a view of a Stork flying through the air, carrying a pouch in his beak. The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of the Stork, who is tired from having to carry the pouch.)

Stork: Duh, I think I can, I think I can.

(The camera cuts to a close-up of the Stork, who begins to descend from fatigue.)

Stork: Duh, who am I kidding? I know I can't!

(The stork looks down, and the camera cuts to a view of a canyon and zooms in on it. It then cuts back to the Stork.)

Stork: Sorry, Kiddo. This'll have to do!

(The stork flies offscreen, and the camera cuts to a view of him as he lets go of the pouch and it falls out of his beak. It then cuts to a view of the pouch as a parachute opens above it, then back to the Stork.)

Stork: If the union gets word of this, I'm history!

(The stork flies away. The camera cuts to a view of the top of a rock formation with an American flag on it as the pouch flies towards it. It then cuts to a view of the nest on the rock formation, where the pouch safely lands. The parachute flies away, and the camera zooms in on the pouch as it opens, revealing an egg inside. The camera then cuts to a view of the Bald Eagle (who has a defeathered scalp) and focuses on him as he flies through the air, humming "America the Beautiful". He lands near the nest, then pulls out a mirror with his left hand and looks into it.)

Bald Eagle: I'm so proud to be me! And who wouldn't be?

(The Bald Eagle looks in his nest and is surprised to find an egg in it.)

Bald Eagle: What the? An egg?

(The Bald Eagle hides his mirror behind his back.)

Bald Eagle: I'm gonna be a father! Honey, you little dickens, come look and see what The Stork left!

(The Bald Eagle points his right index finger at the egg in his nest, only to realize that he isn't married. He then scratches his scalp with his left index finger)

Bald Eagle: Hold it! I... I'm not married!

(The Bald Eagle shrugs his shoulders in confusion, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of the nest as he paces it.)

Bald Eagle: Hmmm. I guess I'm a single father! Well,

(The Bald Eagle stops pacing.)

Bald Eagle: What the hey? It's the 90's, after all.

(The Bald Eagle walks offscreen, and the camera cuts to a view of him as he stands at the edge of a cliff.)

Bald Eagle: And who better than I to teach a young eagle what it means to be the proud symbol of the United States of America?

(The camera zooms in on the Bald Eagle as he salutes with his right hand, then cuts to a close-up of his face.)

Bald Eagle: No one, that's who!

(The camera cuts to a view of the nest as the Bald Eagle runs up to it. The egg begins to hatch.)

Bald Eagle: Come on out, kiddo, and meet your papa!

(The camera cuts to a close-up of the egg as Sweetie hatches from it. She rubs her eyes with both her hands, then looks up at the Bald Eagle, whom the camera cuts to a view of.)

Sweetie: Mama!

Bald Eagle: Son!

(Sweetie and the Bald Eagle give each other a hug, then as the camera zooms in on them, they suddenly realize that Sweetie didn't get the mother she was hoping for, and the Bald Eagle didn't get the son he was hoping for.)

Sweetie: Daddy?

Bald Eagle: Daughter?

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie, whom the Bald Eagle is now holding in his left hand.)

Sweetie: I believe there's been a shipping error.

(The camera cuts back to the previous view.)

Bald Eagle: By gum, you're a girl!

Sweetie: Gee, you're quick!

Bald Eagle: Yes, I am quick.

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie in the Bald Eagle's left hand.)

Bald Eagle: I'm the American Bald Eagle!

(Sweetie covers her ears with both her hands.)

Sweetie: Is he always this loud?

(The camera cuts to a view of the nest as the Bald Eagle sets Sweetie down on the rock near it.)

Bald Eagle: Say, you're kind of puny.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle.)

Sweetie: And you're kind of pudgy.

(Sweetie points her left index finger at an offended Bald Eagle.)

Bald Eagle: I am not pudgy! This is solid muscle! Now, you give it your best shot

(Sweetie shrugs her shoulders in confusion, then punches the Bald Eagle with her right fist, knocking him down easily.)

Bald Eagle: Oof!

(The screen transitions to a view of the top of the rock formation, and the camera zooms in on the silhouettes of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle. It then cuts to a view of them.)

Bald Eagle: Now, the first thing you gotta learn as an American Eagle is how to fly! Now, let me see how you fly.

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie as she pulls out a flight helmet with her right hand and puts it on her head.)

Sweetie: Sweetie requesting clearance for takeoff.

Air Marshall: All clear.

(Sweetie salutes with her right hand.)

Sweetie: Roger!

(Sweetie tiptoes across the ground, then flies into the air. The camera cuts to her as she flies. The Bald Eagle is not impressed.)

Bald Eagle (heard offscreen): No, no, no, no, no!

(The camera cuts to a view of the Bald Eagle.)

Bald Eagle: That's not the way an eagle flies! You gotta use your wingspan and soar, like this!

(The Bald Eagle flies into the air. The camera cuts back to Sweetie as he flies up to her.)

Bald Eagle: That's what makes this land so grand! The freedom for everyone to fly my way!

(The Bald Eagle points his right thumb at himself. Unfortunately, he doesn't look where he's going and flies into a cliff, spreading rocks and dust into the air. When they clear, he is now flattened and the walls around him break apart.)

Bald Eagle: E Pluribus Unum.

(The Bald Eagle falls off the cliff, and the camera cuts to a view of Sweetie flying as the Bald Eagle lands with a crash, causing Sweetie's helmet to fall off.)

Sweetie: That had to hurt!

(The screen transitions to the next scene, where a view of the rock formation is shown. The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of it, where the silhouette of the Bald Eagle is, then it cuts to a view of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle.)

Bald Eagle: The next thing you gotta learn about bein' an eagle is how to catch food!

(The Bald Eagle pulls out a tiny American flag with his right hand.)

Bald Eagle: On your mark, get set, go!

(The Bald Eagle waves the flag, and Sweetie walks off the cliff, falling down it. The camera cuts to her and focuses on her as she flies down the cliff, then it cuts to a view of the river as she lands in it. A worm swims through the water, and she grabs it with her left hand. She is about to eat it, but the Bald Eagle stops her.)

Bald Eagle: No, no, no, no, no, no!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Sweetie as the Bald Eagle flies down to her.)

Bald Eagle: Eagles don't eat worms!

(The Bald Eagle snatches the worm from Sweetie with his left hand.)

Bald Eagle: Eagles eat...

(Before the Bald Eagle can finish, a giant salmon jumps out of the river and swallows him. Sweetie stares in shock at this.)

Bald Eagle: Salmon.

(The screen transitions to a view of the rock formation and the camera zooms in on the top. It then cuts to a view of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle.)

Bald Eagle: We eagles are known for our keen eyesight.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle..)

Bald Eagle: Now tell me, what can you see?

(The camera cuts to an opposing view.)

Sweetie: I can see why eagles are an endangered species.

Bald Eagle: Well, I can see, uh...

(The Bald Eagle puts his left hand over his eyes.)

Bald Eagle: I can see a tiny little salmon way over that ridge there.

(The camera cuts to a view of the river, then to a close-up of Sweetie.)

Sweetie: I don't see a tiny salmon.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle.)

Bald Eagle: That's because you haven't developed your Eagle Eye. Here, I'll show you.

(The Bald Eagle flies into the air, and the camera cuts to a view of a Grizzly Bear looking for salmon in the river. It then moves to the right side of the screen and zooms in on the salmon, then cuts to a view of the Bald Eagle and focuses on him as he flies over the river.)

Bald Eagle: The salmon is right over this ridge!

(The Bald Eagle flies offscreen, and the sound of punching can be heard, implying that the Grizzly Bear is beating him up. Feathers fly from offscreen, and the camera cuts to a view of Sweetie as the half-defeathered Bald Eagle wearily flies up to her.)

Bald Eagle (wearily): Grizzly bears eat Salmon, too.

(The Bald Eagle lands near Sweetie, who pulls out a pencil with her left hand and a pad of paper with her right. She writes down what the Bald Eagle told her. The Bald Eagle lifts up his right index finger and tries to speak, but falls down before he can say anything. The screen transitions to the next scene, where Sweetie and the Bald Eagle are surrounded by fireworks that evening.)

Bald Eagle: Now listen, and I'll tell you about the most important day of the American Bald Eagle's year;

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie and the Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle holds up his left index finger.)

Bald Eagle: The fourth of July! America's Birthday! A day where we proud eagles strut our stuff against a patriotic, pyrotechnic panorama of fireworks in celebration of the great US of A!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie.)

Sweetie: But aren't most fireworks made overseas?

(The camera cuts to a view of the Bald Eagle.)

Bald Eagle: Don't think so much! Here's a sparkler.

(The camera cuts back to Sweetie as the Bald Eagle hands her a sparkler with his right hand.)

Sweetie: Ooh! Pretty!

(The camera cuts to a view of red, white, and blue rockets as the Bald Eagle, who is holding a sparkler of his own in his left hand, walks up to them.)

Bald Eagle: Now watch closely! Fireworks safety is of the utmost importance! Only trained adults should be allowed to light the fuses.

(The Bald Eagle lights the fuses with his sparkler, and they fly into the air. The camera cuts to a view of the sky as the fireworks go off, and the Bald Eagle flies into the air. An American flag appears behind him as he spreads out his wings.)

Bald Eagle: I'm so proud, I'm about to bust wide open!

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie, who accidentally lights a rocket near her with her sparkler. She sees this, and tries to blow out the fuse, but to no avail.)

Sweetie: Uh-oh!

(The rocket flies into the air, and the camera cuts back to the Bald Eagle as the rocket flies into him, causing stars and a cloud of smoke to fill the screen. As the Bald Eagle gets hit, he poses, then the camera cuts to Sweetie, who is amazed.)

Sweetie: Now, that's impressive!

(Sweetie giggles, then the camera cuts back to the Bald Eagle. Stars and smoke fill the screen, and when they clear, the Bald Eagle is now completely defeathered and burnt. He falls down, then the camera cuts to a view of the edge of the cliff as Sweetie, who is holding her sparkler in her left hand, walks up to it.)

Sweetie: Darn!

(Sweetie tosses the sparkler aside.)

Sweetie: Hey, Eagle Pop, I'm just curious. What holiday do we celebrate next?

(The Bald Eagle climbs up the cliff, then points his right index finger at himself.)

Bald Eagle (wearily): Thanksgiving, and I'm the turkey!

Sweeetie: Eww! You look a little overcooked!

(The cliff gives way, and the Bald Eagle falls, landing with a crash as Sweetie looks down at him.)

Sweetie: That's my pop!

(Sweetie giggles, and the screen fades to black, ending the first act.)

Act Two[]

(Act Two begins with Sweetie, who is now wearing a red beret and holding a cane in her left hand, standing in front of a red curtain and under a sign that says, THE SWEETIE SHOW.)

Sweetie: Welcome back to The Sweetie Show!

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie's left side.)

Sweetie But it's more than a show,

(The camera cuts back to the previous view and zooms out as the curtain opens, revealing various Sweetie merchandise behind it.)

Sweetie: It's a multi-media extravaganza!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie.)

Sweetie: You wanna talk merchandising? Why, my potential has barely been tapped!

(The camera focuses on Sweetie as she walks up to a display of a mountain with various Sweetie action figures, including ones driving a car, driving an airplane, and riding a bicycle, as well as one in a hot air balloon, one parachuting, one climbing up the mountain and another skiing down it, one dressed as a ballerina, and one dressed like a commando.)

Sweetie: There's Sweetie action figures,

(The camera cuts to a view of a box of Sweeties cereal, with a lady standing next to it, and Sweetie, who is now holding her cane in her right hand, runs up to it.)

Sweetie: Sweeties cereal,

(The camera cuts to a view of a pile of books near a sign that says, SWEETIE BOOKS. Sweetie runs up to it.)

Sweetie: Sweetie book sales,

(The camera focuses on Sweetie as she runs up to a pyramid of cans near a sign that says, SWEETIE PASTA SAUCE.)

Sweetie: Sweetie pasta sauce!

(The camera then cuts to a view of Sweetie as she walks across the stage.)

Sweetie: Which brings me to my next series concept.

(Sweetie is now holding her cane in her left hand again as she leans up against it.)

Sweetie: It's a heartwarming sitcom about a helpless baby birdie escaping the maniacal mind of a crazy kitty.

(The screen fades to black.)

Let's Do Lunch[]

(The title card depicts Sweetie relaxing in a sandwich as Furrball lifts up the top half of the bread with his right hand and stares in shock at Sweetie. The screen fades to black, then to a view of the city. The camera cuts to a view of various human legs walking across the sidewalk, then it cuts to a view of an alley and zooms in on it. The camera then cuts to Furrball, who is digging through a trash can. He pulls out a fish bone with his mouth as he turns to face the camera, then he jumps out of the trash can. The camera cuts to a view of a cardboard box, which he walks up to. It then cuts to a view of him having rested the fish bone on a plate. Furrball licks his lips, ready to eat the fish bone. He picks it up and is about to eat it, when he hears Elmyra.)

Elmyra Duff (heard offscreen) Oh, poor wittle homeless kitty!

(The camera zooms out on Furrball as Elmyra enters the scene.)

Elmyra: Life can be so cruel!

(Upon hearing Elmyra, Furrball grabs a pouch with both his hands and wraps the fish bone in it. He then grabs a stick with his right hand and forms a bindle with it. The camera cuts to an opposing view as Furrball, now holding the bindle in his right hand, whistles and walks away. Elmyra grabs him with her left hand and pulls him away.)

Elmyra: You can come home with me!

(The camera cuts to a view of Elmyra, who is now holding Furrball in her arms. It then cuts to a zoomed-in view her as she walk across the city, hugging Furrball tight.)

Elmyra: Poor kitty-head!

(Furrball spins his right index finger around the right side of his head as he hears Elmyra.)

Elmyra: I'm gonna make you a nice, warm bed in front of the fireplace and feed you all-white tuna!

(Furrball licks his lips, then smiles and purrs when he hears what Elmyra said. The camera cuts toa view inside Elmyra's house, where there are many caged animals. Among them are a squirrel, a turtle, and a goldfish, as well as an ant farm, complete with a miniature barn and tractor. Elmyra walks into her house, and the camera focuses on her as she runs past her pets, which also include a snake, a dog, a frog, and Bookworm, who is reading a book.)

Elmyra: And all you have to do is leave the cute little birdie alone!

(Elmyra holds Furrball up to Sweetie, who is relaxing in her cage. The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie, who stares in shock at Furrball as he does the same to her. Sweetie points her right index finger at Furrball.)

Sweetie: A cat?

(Sweetie jumps down. The camera cuts to a view of an egg-shaped trunk, which Sweetie opens with her right hand. She takes out a green suitcase in each hand, opens them, then reaches into the trunk with both her hands, pulls out her clothes, puts them in the suitcases, and closes them. The camera cuts to a view of Elmyra and Furrball.)

Elmyra: That's the only rule. Break it, and I have to kick you out so hard that your fanny breaks into itty-bitty pieces, okay?

(Elmyra shakes Furrball's right hand with her right hand. The camera cuts back to Sweetie, who is now taking her clothes out of her suitcases with both her hands and putting them back in her trunk. It then cuts back to Elmyra as she sets Furrball down on a purple blanket next to the fireplace and pets his head with her right hand.)

Elmyra: Now be a good wittle kitty-face while I make some lunch!

(Elmyra walks away, and the camera cuts to Sweetie.)

Sweetie: I'm doomed! That kitty'll hunt me down and gobble me up for sure! You cats are all alike! Food, food, food! Eat, eat, eat!" I might as well end it now!

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie looking down at Furrball, who decides that all he wants to do is relax by the fireplace. He grabs the blanket with both his hands and rolls it up in the shape of a pillow, then he rests his head on it. Elmyra walks up to Furrball and pushes the blanket closer to the fireplace, then she walks away. The camera cuts to a view of the end of Furrball's tail as it catches fire, then it cuts to a view of Furrball, who suddenly realizes this. It focuses on him as he grabs his tail with both his hands, then runs into the table that Sweetie's cage is on. The fire is put out, then the camera cuts to a view of Sweetie's cage as it falls.)

Sweetie: Lunchtime, kitty!

(The camera cuts back to the previous view as Sweetie falls out of her cage and lands in Furrball's mouth. Not wanting to get kicked out of Elmyra's house, Furrball grabs Sweetie's cage with both his hands and spits Sweetie out and back into it. The camera then cuts to a view inside the cage as Sweetie lands in it.)

Sweetie: Spit me out, will he?

(The camera cuts to a view of Elmyra, who is now standing in the doorway to her kitchen.)

Elmyra: Here, cute kitty-kitty!

(The camera cuts to a view of the kitchen floor as Elmyra, who now has a dish of tuna in her right hand, sets it down.)

Elmyra: Tuna!

(Elmyra walks away, and Furrball runs up to the dish of tuna. He looks lovingly at it, then chomps at the tuna inside. He then gasps, reaches into his mouth with his left hand, and pulls out Sweetie.)

Sweetie: What are you, nuts? You'd take fish over poultry?

(Furrball trembles in fear, tosses Sweetie aside, and tiptoes offscreen. The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as Elmyra jumps up to the dish of tuna.)

Elmyra: Guess puddy-head isn't hungry.

(Elmyra grabs the dish with her right hand and walks away. Furrball walks up to her, then sneers angrily and walks away. The camera cuts to him and focuses on him as he walks through Elmyra's living room, pacing the floor nervously. It then cuts to a close-up of his stomach, which sprouts a face and growls angrily. The face disappears, then the camera cuts back to the previous view, focusing on Furrball as he continues to pace the floor. Eventually, his torso and legs separate from each other and walk off in different directions. The screen fades to black, then to an overhead view of Furrball relaxing on the blanket in front of the fireplace. He turns over, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of him as an aroma fills the air. Furrball sniffs it, then floats into the air. The camera focuses on him as he floats through the air, then cuts to a view inside the kitchen, continuing to focus on Furrball as he continues to float. He dives into a blender, which blends him into a ball of fuzz, then flies out. He then flies into a salad spinner, which blends him as well, and he growls. He, now in pieces, flies out, then reconstructs himself. He flies over a bib, grabs it with both his hands, and meows. He then ties the bib on, then flies over a knife and fork, which he grabs with his respective right and left hands. He meows as he flies up to a cooked chicken, which he pokes with the fork. He scoops up Sweetie and opens his mouth.)

Sweetie: Bon apetit!

(Furrball puts Sweetie in his mouth, then realizing he just ate her, sticks out his tongue and meows in shock as he stares at her. He jumps into the air, then the camera cuts to a view of the ceiling, as Sweetie is now sitting in the kitchen lamp.)

Sweetie: Come on, I'm nutritious!

(Furrball falls off the ceiling, leaving a Furrball-shaped hole in it. Sweetie flies down, and the camera cuts to a view of Furrball as he lands on the floor, near the dish, which Sweetie lands in.)

Sweetie: And I'm low in cholesterol, too!

(Furrball runs away, and the camera cuts to a view of the stairs as he runs up them. It then cuts to a view inside a bedroom as he runs inside it and pushes the door shut with both his hands. He then runs up to every piece of furniture in the room and places them in front of the door to keep it shut. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-in view of Furrball as he pants heavily. The bottom drawer on the nightstand next to him opens. Sweetie is lying on a plate inside, and is holding a fork in her right hand and a knife in her left.)

Sweetie: Dinner for one?

(Furrball stares in shock at Sweetie, then closes the drawer with his right hand. The camera cuts back to the previous view as he grabs the nightstand with both his hands and tosses it, then puts the rest of the furniture back where it was before. Furrball runs through the door, leaving a Furrball-shaped hole in it, then the camera cuts to a view of the stairs as he runs down them, focusing on him as he runs through the front door, leaving a Furrball-shaped hole in it as well. It then cuts to a view of Furrball looking out the window of the rocket, which now lands on the moon. The camera then cuts to Furrball, who is now dressed in a space suit as he opens the door with both his hands and looks out. The camera then cuts to a view of Sweetie, who is now dressed in a space suit of her own, on the moon, zooming in on her.)

Sweetie: Let's do lunch!

(The camera cuts back to Furrball, who stares in shock and closes the door with both his hands. It then cuts to an opposing view of Sweetie as she watches the rocket blast off. The footage of Furrball escaping from Elmyra's house and blasting off to the moon is then played in reverse, then the camera cuts to a view of a piano, which Furrball jumps into. A view of a black screen is now shown. Furrball opens his eyes, as does Sweetie, who is also revealed to be in the piano. Furrball lights a match, which he is holding in his left hand, illuminating the scene.)

Sweetie: Chow down!

(The camera cuts to the outside of the piano, focusing on Furrball as he jumps out, screeching in fear. It then cuts to Sweetie, who blows out the match. It zooms out as Sweetie walks across the piano keys.)

Sweetie: That's it! I give up! I... I'm unappetizing!

Tweety Bird (heard offscreen): No, you're not!

(The camera zooms in on Sweetie.)

Sweetie: I'm not?

(The screen wipes over to Tweety, who is standing near a podium, dressed like a professor and holding a pointer in his right hand.)

Tweety You just need a wittle help!

(Sweetie walks in.)

Sweetie: Hello, Tweety.

(The camera cuts to an overhead view of the classroom.)

Tweety: Hello, Sweetie. Have a seat.

(Sweetie takes her seat, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of her and Tweety. Tweety grabs a projection screen with an image of Sylvester on it with his left hand and pulls it down.)

Tweety: Puddy tats awe pwetty uncompwicated.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Tweety and the image of Sylvester. Tweety pulls out a pointer with his right hand.)

(The camera cuts back to the previous view.)

Tweety: If you ask them to do something, they won't.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Tweety as he keeps poking the image of Sylvester with his pointer.)

Tweety: You gotta tease him, and taunt him!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of the image of Sylvester as it comes to life, getting annoyed at Tweety as he keeps hitting him.)

Tweety (heard offscreen): Pound him, and haunt him!

(The image of Sylvester now has an angry sneer. The camera cuts back to the previous view as Tweety continues to hit Sylvester.)

Tweety: Dwive him nuts!

(The camera cuts to a view of Tweety's right side as the image of Sylvester jumps off the projection screen and pounces at Tweety, missing him as he flies away. The camera focuses on him as he chases Tweety.)

Tweety: I guawantee that puddy will gobble you up out of sheer spite!

(Tweety hits the image of Sylvester with his pointer, stopping him in his tracks. Sweetie walks up to Tweety.)

Sweetie: Thanks, Tweety.

(The image of Sylvester falls, landing with a thud.)

Tweety: My pweasuwe.

(The screen transitions to a view inside the kitchen and the camera moves to the right side of the screen, then zooms in on a cabinet. The camera cuts to a view of the cabinet as Furrball, who is now holding a box of ACME Kitty Kibbles in both his hands, sneaks out of it. The camera focuses on him as he tiptoes, then he stops and looks around. The camera then cuts to a view of the stove, which Sweetie is inside and now opens, causing the door to hit Furrball on the head and knock the box of ACME Kitty Kibbles out of his hands. Sweetie flies out, then the camera cuts to a view of the side of the box, which she flies up to, reading MONOSODIUM TYRATES, POLYMORPHIC SODIMATES, and BLECH on it.)

Sweetie: Monosodium Tyrates? Polymorphic Sodimates? Blech! You don't want to eat this!

(Sweetie grabs the box with both her hands and tosses it aside. The camera cuts to a view of the window as the box flies out it. Furrball jumps after it, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of the window as Sweetie closes it, then she flies down to Furrball, who literally falls to pieces. Sweetie: Ooh! He's gone all to pieces!

(Sweetie giggles. The camera cuts to Furrball, who has reconstructed himself, as Sweetie now traps him in her cage. She then flies into it and teases him.)

Sweetie: Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Furrball, who trembles in fear.)

Sweetie: Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah!

(Furrball then becomes angry. He clenches his teeth and red hypnotic swirls appear in his eyes. The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of him as he finally breaks down, grabs Sweetie with both his hands, opens his mouth with his right hand, and drops Sweetie in it with his left. He grins deviously, then stares in shock when he realizes that he just broke the one rule Elmyra told him not to break.)

Elmyra (heard offscreen) Naughty kitty cat head face!

(Elmyra grabs Furrball with her left hand and pulls him away. As she does this, Sweetie flies out of his mouth. The camera then cuts to a view of Elmyra, who is now holding Furrball in her right hand and pointing her left index finger at him. It focuses on her as she walks up to her front door.)

Elmyra: You broke your promise! out you go!

(Elmyra lifts up her right leg, then the camera cuts to a view outside her house as she kicks Furrball out. It then cuts to a view of Sweetie, who is now sitting in her cage.)

Sweetie: That'll teach that kitty to ignore me!

(Sweetie's stomach growls.)

Sweetie: Ooh! All that work gave me an appetite!

(The camera cuts to a view outside Sweetie's cage and zooms in on it as she flies down to the door and kicks it open with both her feet. It then cuts to a view of Elmyra's other pets, which include an alligator, a turtle, a squirrel, and a mouse. It then moves ot the right side of the screen, past the goldfish, snake, dog, and frog, until it comes to Bookworm, who continues to read his book, and zooms in on him. The camera cuts back to Sweetie, who licks her beak, then it cuts back to Bookworm and zooms out on him as Sweetie flies down to him.)

Sweetie: Lunchtime!

(Sweetie grabs Bookworm with her right hand, but before she can put him in her beak, she is stopped by Elmyra.)

Elmyra: Shame on you!

(Sweetie stares in shock at Elmyra, who grabs her with her left hand, causing Sweetie to drop Bookworm. The camera then cuts to a view of Elmyra walking up to her front door.)

Elmyra: You know the rules! Out you go!

(Elmyra lifts her right leg, then the camera cuts to a view outside her house as she kicks Sweetie out. It then cuts to a view of Furrball, who yawns, causing Sweetie to land in his mouth. It then cuts to a close-up of his face, and moves down to his stomach, which once again sprouts a face, this time licking its lips as the screen irises out on him. However, since Furrball has had quite enough of Sweetie (and since she still has one short left), Furrball pushes the iris open with both his hands and spits Sweetie out. The iris then closes again, and the screen fades to black, ending Act Two.)

Act Three[]

(Act Three begins with Sweetie, who is now wearing a red beret, purple scarf, and sunglasses, sitting in a director's seat, and holding a drink in her left hand as Buster and Babs look at her. The camera zooms in on Sweetie, then cuts to a close-up of the director's chair, revealing it to say, SUPER STAR.)

Sweetie (in a faux British accent): Hello, all my fans. Simply hello. Now,

(Sweetie spins, and when she stops spinning, she is dressed in a purple and green pointy hat, a red clown wig, a red clown nose, and green and white clown shoes.)

Sweetie: You know I'm not just a comedienne, I'm also a great actress!

(The camera cuts to a view of Buster and Babs, both of whom have forced smiles on their faces.)

Buster: "Gee, Sweetie," you said, "We just don't know exactly what to do with you!" Good work, Babs!

Babs: Yeah, then you said, "Gee, Sweetie, do you have any ideas?"

(The camera cuts back to Sweetie.)

Sweetie: I could play the classics!

(Sweetie spins again, and when she stops, she is dressed in a prisoner's shirt and hat.)

Sweetie: Birdgirl of Alcatraz!

(The camera zooms in on Sweetie as she bends down on her knees.)

Sweetie: I'm innocent!

(The camera zooms back out as Sweetie spins again. When she stops, she is holding a bow in her left hand and a suction-cup arrow in her right, and for some reason, she has pink wings on her back.)

Sweetie: To Kill a Mockingbird!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as Sweetie shoots the arrow, then a zoomed-in view as Sweetie jumps offscreen. It then cuts to her as she lands on the right arm of the chair and the arrow lands on her chest. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-out view of Sweetie as she grabs the arrow with her right hand, stumbles, and falls into the chair. It then cuts to Buster and Babs, both of whom have forced smiles on their faces. After that, it cuts back to Sweetie, who removes the arrow with her right hand and tosses it aside.)

Sweetie: But perhaps my best work would be in Edgar Allan Poe's classic poem,

(The camera zooms in on Sweetie and the screen fades to black.)

The Raven[]

(The title card depicts a skull covered in cobwebs with a candle on top standing atop a pillar. Sweetie poker her head out of the skull's right eye.)

Sweetie: The Raven!

(The screen fades to black, then to a view of a cloudy night sky. The clouds move away, revealing the moon behind them, then the camera moves down to a house on a snowy hill, near a sign that says, HP LOVECRAFT NATIONAL FOREST. The camera then zooms in on the house.)

Edgar Allan Poe: Once Upon a midnight dreary,

(The screen transitions to a view inside the house, where Edgar Allan Poe is reading near the fireplace.)

Edgar: While I pondered, weak and weary,

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar reading a book in his chair.)

Edgar: Over many acquainted curious volume of forgotten lore,

(The camera cuts to a close-up of Edgar's eyes.)

Edgar: While I nodded, fearing napping, suddenly there came a tapping.

(A knock can be heard, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Edgar, who drops his book and hides behind his chair in fear. He pokes his head out from behind it.)

Edgar: As if someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Edgar.)

Edgar: Tis some visitor!

(Edgar walks out from behind his chair.)

Edgar: I muttered.

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar tiptoeing through his house, focusing on him.)

Edgar: Only this and nothing more!

(Edgar walks up to a Christmas tree decorated with skulls. The camera zooms in on a present, then cuts to a view of a tag that says, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO: MY ONE AND ONLY EDGAR ALLEN FROM: LENORE. ❤ and zooms in on it.)

Edgar: All distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December.

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar as he opens his front door with his right hand. He looks outside, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of the snow outside.)

Edgar: And every separate dying ember brought its ghost upon the floor.

(The camera cuts back to the previous view as Edgar closes his door, then shrugs his shoulders in confusion. As he walks to the left side of the screen, he stops when he hears a ghostly wail. The camera moves to the right side of the screen, where Edgar's shadow forms three ghosts. It then cuts to a view of Edgar as he jumps into a coat hanger and screams in fear. It then cuts to a zoomed-in view as he gulps, then looks to his left side. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-out view as the coat hanger leads Edgar to his front door, and Edgar looks through the peephole. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-in view of Edgar looking through the peephole.)

Edgar: Deep into the darkness, peering,

(The camera cuts to a view of the other side of the peephole as Edgar continues to look through it.)

Edgar: How I stood there, wondering, fearing,

(The camera cuts to a view outside the door, zooming in on the snow as leaves fly past it, then it cuts back to Edgar inside.)

Edgar: Doubting dreaming dreams no mortal's ever dared to dream before.

(Edgar gulps. The camera moves to the upper-left corner of the screen, which then transitions to a dark screen with a red, beating heart in the middle.)

Edgar: Silence there, and nothing more.

(A coffin appears from the darkness, and a bell tolls as the camera zooms in on the beating heart. The coffin opens, revealing the corpse of Lenore, which the camera zooms out on, revealing it to be in a grave with a tombstone that says, LENORE.)

Edgar: Lenore?

(The camera moves way from Lenore's grave, revealing it to be in a graveyard. Lenore's ghost rises from the grave and flies up to the camera, which then cuts back to Edgar as he climbs down from the coat hanger. The camera then cuts to a view of Edgar's chair as Edgar walks back to it. He sits in it and picks up his book with his right hand.)

Edgar: Back into the chamber, turning, all my soul within me burning.

(As Edgar looks through his book, another knock can be heard.)

Edgar: Soon again, I heard a tapping, something louder than before.

(Edgar jumps out of his chair, then the camera cuts to a view of the window, where the shutters blow open and closed. The camera then cuts to Edgar, who is clinging onto a ceiling lamp.)

Edgar: Let me see then what thereat is, and this mystery explore.

(Edgar's weight is too much for the ceiling lamp to handle, and as a result, it breaks, causing both it and Edgar to fall. A cloud of dust fills the screen, and when it clears, Edgar and the ceiling lamp are revealed to have fallen on the floor. Edgar chuckles nervously.)

Edgar: Tis the wind and nothing more!

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar walking up to his window.)

Edgar: Open here, I flung the shutter,

(The wind blows the shutters open, the left of which hits Edgar. The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Edgar's living room as the wind blows the curtains.)

Edgar: And with many aflirt and flutter,

(The camera cuts to a view of what appears to be a ghostly figure in the window as thunder booms and lightning flashes.)

Edgar: In there stepped a stately raven, the saintly days of yore.

(The ghostly figure is revealed to be Sweetie covered in snow, which she shakes off. The camera cuts to a view of a fallen Edgar, whose head is covered in snow, as Sweetie jumps down to him and walks past him. The camera then cuts to a view of the fireplace, which she walks up to and warms herself near.)

Edgar: Not the least excuse did make she, as her snow or me did shake she,

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar as he walks behind his chair.)

Edgar: Quoth the raven,

(The camera cuts back to the previous view as Edgar looks down at Sweetie.)

Sweetie: Nevermore!

(The camera cuts to a close-up of Edgar's chair as Edgar pokes his head out from behind it, trembling in fear.)

Edgar: But no attention did she pay me,

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie as she walks up to the kitchen door and opens it with her right hand.)

Edgar: Belly growling all the way,

(The camera cuts to a view inside Edgar's kitchen as Sweetie walks up to the refrigerator and opens it with her left hand.)

Edgar: She flitted straight away, she opened up my icebox door.

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar hiding behind the kitchen door.)

Edgar: Quoth the raven,

(The camera cuts back to the previous view, where Sweetie is now holding up a sandwich that's twice as tall as her in both her hands.)

Sweetie: Nevermore!

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar looking from behind the kitchen door. As Sweetie walks out the doorway, the kitchen door slams Edgar.)

Sweetie: Nevermore will I fly south for the winter on a cheap excursion flight.

(The kitchen door closes, revealing a flattened Edgar behind it, who flutters to the floor.)

Edgar: This she said, and nothing more.

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie, who is now sitting in Edgar's chair, holding a chicken drumstick in her right hand and a remote control in her left. Her giant sandwich is sitting next to her. She clicks the remote with her right thumb and eats the chicken drumstick. The camera cuts to an opposing view, revealing a Godzilla-like movie to be playing on Edgar's television set. The dinosaur roars, then the camera cuts back to Sweetie, who tosses her chicken bone aside.)

Sweetie: I'm a happy little couch potato! I'll just stay here all winter!

(Sweetie giggles, but then Edgar's right hand reaches from offscreen and grabs her, then pulls her away.)

Edgar: Then I realized with foreboding,

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar looking angrily at Sweetie.)

Edgar: That this fowl was now freeloading.

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar's front door as Edgar, who is now holding Sweetie in his right hand, carries her up to it.)

Edgar: So now, I with much frustration, chucked her out my chamber door.

(Edgar opens his front door with his left hand and kicks Sweetie out with his right foot. The camera cuts to a view outside Edgar's house, focusing on Sweetie as she falls through the snow. It then cuts back to Edgar, who closes the door with his left hand. He stumbles back to it.)

Edgar: Then twas me remarking that this pest would come aharking,

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Edgar, who dusts off his hands.)

Edgar: With her feathered tail abarking in my chamber... nevermore.

(The camera cuts to a view outside Edgar's house, where Sweetie is now rolling inside a snowball. It then cuts to a zoomed-in view of the snowball as Sweetie's eyes and beak emerge from it.)

Sweetie: That's what he thinks! (The screen transitions to an overhead view of Edgar sitting in his chair, zooming in on him at a counter-clockwise 90 degree angle.)

Edgar: So again, I took the needing relaxation found in reading,

(The camera cuts to a close-up of Edgar and zooms in on him.)

Edgar: Till' the silence was then broken by the buzzer at my door.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view of Edgar, who jumps out of his chair and tosses his book in the air in shock. He lands in his chair upside-down and the book lands on his head, which the camera cuts to a close-up of.)

Edgar: Who's there? I weakly uttered.

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar's front door as Edgar, with his book still on his head, tiptoes up to it.)

Edgar: As the doorbell buzzed and sputtered,

(The camera cuts to a view of the peephole of Edgar's front door. Edgar cups his left hand to his left ear as he leans up against his door.)

Edgar: Next, a ghostly voice then muttered,

(The camera cuts to a view outside Edgar's front door, where Sweetie now has a mail carrier's hat on her head. She pulls out a heart-shaped box of chocolates with her right hand. The tag on it says, TELL TALE HEART DARK CHOCOLATES.)

Sweetie: It's a candygram from Lenore!

(The camera cuts back to Edgar.)

Edgar: Lenore?

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as Edgar opens the door with his left hand and grabs the box of chocolates with his left. As he does this, his book falls off his head. The camera zooms in on him, then cuts to a close-up of the box of chocolates.)

Edgar: Instantly beset with dreams of caramels, nuts, and chocolate creams,

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar looking down at the box, which he opens with both his hands.)

Edgar: In a fiendish frenzy through the red, red wrapping i tore.

(Edgar removes the lid with his left hand, then the camera cuts to a close-up of his eyes and zooms in on theme.)

Edgar: But my eyes met with displeasure, there was no candy treasure.

(The camera cuts to a view inside the box and zooms in on Sweetie, who is revealed to have eaten all the chocolates and been fattened as a result.)

Edgar: Just the little raven, saying,

Sweetie: I ate it all.

(Sweetie belches.)

Sweetie: Nevermore.

(The camera cuts to a view outside Edgar's house, where an actual raven is now sitting on the sign near it. Edgar kicks Sweetie, who is now inexplicably back to her normal weight, out of his house, and the raven squawks as Sweetie flies past it. The camera then cuts to a view of a tree branch, which Sweetie lands on.)

Sweetie (wearily): Maybe I should have gone to E. E. Cummings' house.

(The screen transitions to a view inside Edgar's house, where Edgar now has a hammer in his right hand, which he uses to nail up boards blocking his front door. The camera zooms in on him.)

Edgar: So I took to preventing my guest so unrelenting,

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Edgar.)

Edgar: From once again re-entering my private chamber door.

(Edgar walks away, then the camera cuts to a view of his chair as he nervously tiptoes up to it. It then cuts to a zoomed-in view as he sits down in it. He picks up a tea kettle on the table to his right side with his left hand and hands it to his right. He then picks up a teacup with his left hand and pours himself a cup of tea. He then sets the teapot down on the table and sighs, but just before he can take a sip of tea, his telephone rings, and he yells in shock, tossing his teacup in the air. He grabs the phone with his right hand and holds the receiver up to his ear with his left.)

Sweetie (heard over the telephone): Collect call from Lenore!

(Edgar smiles when he hears what Sweetie said.)

Edgar: I met with much delight my true love's call on this night, Put her through, please, I implore! Then quoth the raven,

(Sweetie pops out of the receiver, much to Edgar's annoyance.) Sweetie: Nevermore!

(Sweetie giggles, then the camera cuts to a view outside Edgar's front door. This time, Edgar kicks Sweetie through it, leaving a Sweetie-shaped hole in it. A splatting sound is heard, then the camera cuts to a snowman that Sweetie landed in and zooms in on her.)

Sweetie: He's being a very "Poe" sport!

(The screen transitions to a view of Edgar, who is now holding a hammer in his left hand, which he uses to nail boards over the Sweetie-shaped hole in it. He then closes the locks on it with his right hand.)

Edgar: As my door I soundly latched, double-barred and triple-latched,

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Edgar as the sound of jingle bells can be heard.)

Edgar: Overhead I heard some bells and a hearty, merry roar.

(The camera cuts to a view of the fireplace as Sweetie, who is now dressed as Santa Claus and holding a bag in her right hand, travels down it.)

Sweetie: Ho ho ho! I've brought a gift to you from Lenore!

(Sweetie walks away, then the camera cuts to her walking up to an excited Edgar.)

Edgar: Santa!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie.)

Sweetie: Have you been a good little melancholy poet this year?

(The camera cuts to a view of Edgar.)

Edgar: Yes, Santa, yes!

(The camera cuts back to Sweetie.)

Sweetie: You haven't been beating up on any helpless little birdies, have you?

(Sweetie points her right index finger at Edgar, who the camera then cuts to. Edgar waves his hands at Sweetie in denial.)

Edgar: Oh, no, no!

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as Sweetie reaches into her bag with her left hand, and pulls out a present, which she gives to Edgar.)

Sweetie: Fine, here's your present, but you have to take good care of it!

(Edgar walks away, and the camera cuts to a view of him as he opens his present with both his hands.)

Edgar: Wondering how much did she spend she, wondering oh what did she send me,

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Edgar, who continues opening his present.)

Edgar: I attacked the gaudy paper and tossed the wrapping on the floor.

(Edgar stares in shock, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-out view, revealing him to be holding a cage with Sweetie inside it in his right hand.)

Edgar: Then quoth the raven,

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie inside her cage.)

Sweetie: You'll toss me out nevermore.

(The camera cuts to a view outside Edgar's front door, as Sweetie is now kicked out of it again. The door closes, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Sweetie.)

Sweetie: I pride myself on persistence.

(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as Sweetie jumps off the stairs, then walks back into Edgar's house, opens the door, and kicks Edgar out. Edgar runs back in, opens the door, kicks Sweetie out again, then closes the door, then Sweetie walks back in, opens the door, and kicks Edgar out again. The screen then transitions to a close-up of Edgar's eyes as sweat pours down from his head. The screen transitions to a zoomed-out view of Edgar as he holds his right index finger up to his lips and babbles. The screen then transitions to a further zoomed-out view, revealing Edgar to be sitting in his chair, with Sweetie in his lap, and a bowl of popcorn on the right arm of the chair. The camera zooms out on them.)

Edgar: The raven, never quitting, still is sitting, still is sitting,

(Sweetie grins deviously, then the camera cuts to a view of the television set, revealing Jack Nicholson's face to be on it. Sweetie is now holding the remote in her right hand and clicks it with her right thumb, then she grabs some popcorn with her left hand.)

Edgar: By my television glowing on the warm and cozy floor.

(The camera cuts to a view of Sweetie.)

Sweetie: I'm gonna stay here forevermore!

(The camera zooms out on Sweetie as she grabs some more popcorn with her left hand. The screen irises out on her, ending the short.)

Epilogue[]

(The screen irises in on Sweetie, who is once again wearing her red beret and sunglasses, as well as a pink scarf, as Buster and Babs look down at her.)

Sweetie: Thank you, thank you.

(The camera cuts to a view of Buster and Babs as Sweetie walks past them.)

Sweetie: I'd love to stick around,

(The camera cuts to a view of a limousine as a door on its right side opens and Sweetie walks up to it. It then cuts to a view of Sweetie as she turns to face Buster and Babs.)

Sweetie: But I'm lunching with Woody, Mia, Cher, Jack, and Meryl.

(Sweetie jumps into the seat.)

Sweetie: Ciao!

(Sweetie closes the door with her right hand, and the camera cuts to a view outside the limousine as it drives away, leaving a cloud of smoke that covers the screen. The camera then cuts to a view of Buster and Babs coughing as the smoke flies past them.)

Buster: Well, we made Sweetie happy.

(The camera cuts to a view of Babs by herself.)

Babs: Yeah, and...

(Babs coughs)

Babs: Now we can go on just like always!

(The camera cuts to an overhead view of Buster and Babs. As the smoke clears, they are surrounded by Fifi, Sneezer, Dizzy, Gogo, Concord, Hamton, Little Beeper, Barky Marky, Calamity, and Furrball. Fifi, Sneezer, Dizzy, Concord, Hamton, Calamity, and Furrrball are all holding up signs, Fifi and Furrball's saying UNFAIR and Sneezer's saying BOO.)

Babs: Maybe not.

(The camera cuts to a view of Gogo, Concord, Beeper, and Barky, and Concord's sign is revealed to say, TINY TOONS UNFAIR TO BIT PLAYERS.)

Gogo, Concord, Beeper, and Barky: Unfair! Unfair! Unfair!

(The camera cuts to a view of Buster and Babs.)

Buster: This is not a pretty trend.

(The screen irises out on Buster, and the credits roll.)
