Buster and the Beanstalk is a video game made for the personal computer in 1996. It is the only Tiny Toon Adventures game ever made for the personal computer. It was later remade for the PlayStation console as The Great Beanstalk. The gameplay is similar, although the player does not control Plucky in this version.

Plot[]

In a scene not present in the PlayStation version, Buster and Plucky are seen outside of the locked giant's castle. Plucky is clearly angry at Buster for deceiving him into "riches beyond his wildest dreams." Suddenly, Babs as the "fairy princess" drops down via rope (reprising the gag as Tinkerbunny when she pulled down the rope and the guy holding it.) She then proceeds to tell Buster and Plucky and the player how they got there.

“Once upon a time, you were living a wonderful life, when, through the laws of creative acquisition in international finance, a large multimedia merger created a loss of your assets. (That means ya lost your riches!) Anyway, those riches were a bag of gold, the chicken that lays golden eggs, and a magical flying harp. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so you sold the family cow [actually a cow-shaped clock]. Being a Wall Street washout, you ended up with a bag of magic beans instead of a wad of cashola!! And, in frustration, your comic relief [Plucky] tossed the beans to the wind. Blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda and then a beanstalk. (Who writes this stuff anyway?!) Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work with your cursor friend and find the pieces that make up the magic key, which are hidden somewhere in the land of the beanstalk. When you've assembled the key, you can pass through the doors of the giant's castle."

Another difference between this version and the PlayStation game is if the player waits around too long to click on something, Buster and Plucky get captured by Elmyra and the player will have to click on a cell phone to get the "fairy princess" to rescue them, but only for a maximum of three times.

Also, unlike the PS game, the giant turns out to be Bugs Bunny.
