Added by FlyingDuckManGenesisDaffy Duck is a Looney Tunes star who now teaches at Acme Looniversity. He is the mentor and favorite teacher of Plucky Duck. On the Looney Tunes shorts, he is sometimes depicted as the best friend and occasional rival of Bugs Bunny.
Appearances on Tiny Toon Adventures
Daffy is voiced by both Jeff Bergman and Greg Burson on Tiny Toon Adventures.
In the Season 1 premiere, The Looney Beginning, Daffy appears with a new film idea, Honey I Shrunk the Laundry, only to have it rejected by the network. Later in the episode, he appears as Plucky's mentor in Spotlight Stealing classes.
Daffy appears briefly in Prom-ise Her Anything alongside Bugs Bunny at the end of Taz's commercial for his tuxedo store, Crazy Tazzie's House of Tuxes. After the commercial was filmed, he and Bugs captured Taz and put him in a straightjacket. Bugs also mentions to Buster that he can swipe one of his routines to repay him for helping him with his dance moves.
In the Season 1 episode, Animaniacs, Daffy appears along with Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig as judges for the Acme Looniversity animation festival. Although the Looney Tunes are not too keen on seeing student films (Daffy claims it to be Bugs' revenge for all the Rabbit Season signs he puts up each year), Bugs doesn't give them much of a choice. The shortened version of The Plucky Duck Story becomes a refreshing change of pace after Shirley the Loon's 17-&-1/2-hour long film Song of the Loon, and thus wins first prize. In Fields of Honey, Daffy is briefly shown at a meeting held by Babs at Acme Looniversity with a majority of the other Looney Tunes teaching staff. Babs is so intent and overzealous on them building a "really big theater" and show nothing but Honey cartoons so that people would come and watch because the "strange voice" (revealed later as Bosko) told her to do so, that she appears to be going mad (even drooling over the table). They promptly send her to the nurse's office to see Elmyra, who also concludes that she is had gone crazy.
In the Season 1 episode, Who Bopped Bugs Bunny?, Daffy attends Bugs' award ceremony, but is jealous of both Bugs' 1958 Shloskar and the fact that Bugs is getting another award that night. Sappy Stanley sends a robot copy of himself onstage and disguises himself as a female to kock out Bugs and steal his Shloskar undetected. He also spray-paints a fake award to frame Daffy for the crime, as Daffy has always been jealous of Bugs. Daffy gets arrested, but the Tiny Toons, knowing Daffy was innocent, try to solve the mystery for themselves. As Buster and Babs pester Stanley, Plucky Duck and Hamton J. Pig try unsuccessfully to rescue Daffy by disguising themselves as ninjas. Ungrateful that Plucky and Hamton tried to rescue him, Daffy tells them "Nice try, nin-jerks!" Plucky whispers to Hamton, "Next semester, I'm getting Foghorn for my mentor". Despite the fact that Stanley gets arrested at the end of the cartoon, Daffy, Plucky, and Hamton are not immediately released and are stuck making license plates. After making a license plate that says THE END, Daffy complains "This ending is despicable!"
Daffy is mentioned in the Season 2 episode, Henny Youngman Day, while he was sick, Henny Youngman took his place.
In Two-Tone Town, Daffy appears at the beginning in a promo for Acme Oop! in a clip from his cartoon, Robin Hood Daffy. Later, Daffy appears as the conductor of an orchestra consisting of other Looney Tunes. Daffy as well as the others in the orchestra are wearing light blue tuxedos and about to perform in front of a full crowd. Buster (in Robin Hood attire and intentions to steal the musical symbols) interrupts the orchestra, but a slightly annoyed Daffy denies his interruption and commands them to perform anyways. Giant musical symbols appear above the orchestra as they play, and Buster begins stealing the symbols, infuriating Daffy further. The angered duck battles Buster atop the symbols, as the others continue to play. Daffy loses the battle when he falls and Taz smashes in his head with his cymbals. Buster conducts a final note as the orchestra perform for him.
