Babs, Shirley and Fifi's relationship is unique compared to those of other Tiny Toon Adventures characters, as Babs and Shirley's personalities set them apart from their Looney Tunes counterparts, who merely serve as the male's love interests, while Fifi's gender is different from that of her mentor. The three are sometimes shown to be either good friends or bad friends with each other.
Episodes with them being good friends
There have been episodes where Babs, Shirley and Fifi have helped each other because they care for one another.
- In the Love Disconnection episode segment, The Amazing Three, just before Babs, Shirley and Fifi attend the senior dance at Perfecto Prep, Babs brings out her Acme Little Wonder make-up kit, to help them look older in order to impress older guys. Also in the episode, Babs rescues Fifi when she is being chased by an older boy skunk. (Fifi seemed to enjoy being chased by him, however.)
- In the Music Day episode segment, Loon Lake Babs tells Shirley not to quit ballet due to the Swan Dancers making fun of her, then during the Swan Lake recital, Babs sabotages the Swan Dancers while they attempt to sabotage Shirley's dancing during the recital. After the peformance, Babs presents Shirley with a bouquet of roses.
Episodes with them being bad friends
- In the The Buster Bunny Bunch episode segment, Born to be Riled, Babs is shown to be a bad friend to both Shirley and Fifi by offending them with her accurate but unflattering impressions of them. Towards the end of the cartoon, she receives her comeuppance when Shirley and Fifi, Along with Calamity, Dizzy and Plucky (who she also impersonated in that episode) make fun of her by imitating her.

- Because of their friendship, Babs, Shirley, and Fifi have been given the nickname "The Amazing Three" by their fans, named for the Love Disconnection episode segment of the same name.
